Huge Well Done to all our Taekwondo International World Championship Competitors!

25 of our Taekwondo Students attended the Taekwondo International World Championships at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham at the weekend and managed to bring home 19 medals between them.

This is a huge achievement as this event was supported by over 3000 competitors from around the world.

The Team had trained hard for this event. We provided lots of extra sessions for our Competitors over the last few months, it’s been great to see their progression and witness their hard work paying off. Every one of the Team performed well and should be extremely proud of themselves.

Dylan Ashley had a great competition and has now 2 World Titles to his name. Dylan won his category in the Individual Sparring and the Tag Team event.

Our Instructor Glen Edwards won Silver in Patterns and also won 2 Bronze medals in the Men’s Individual Continuous and Points sparring both very close fights.

Izzy Evans brought home silver after fighting in a tough women’s division.
